Conversion VS Friction

Breakfast

Summary
The game of marginal gains
Today’s consumers experience increasingly elegant in-store checkout. A simple tap in most cases. Online is fighting hard to keep up, but there is still a gap—is that gap widening?
Delays during online checkout remain a big headache—nearly 90% of consumers say they’ll abandon if they meet friction in that vital period to purchase. Enter the game of marginal gains!
Our expert roundtable takes place over breakfast, during which we will debate potential gains in the three key components of friction—at Checkout, Authentication and Authorisation. By improving customer data, choice of payment methods and the role of payment tokens, there are revenue improvements to be had.
This roundtable is for you if: You feel there is money being left on the table, through abandonment, poor CX and/or checkout friction. If you are tasked with improvement in the checkout this is for you.

Throughout the morning we'll be exploring key strategies and innovations shaping the future of online payments and customer experience. Specifically looking at:
- The role of tokens in marginal gains—across acceptance and fraud specifically
- New ways that authentication can help cut friction online—exploring biometrics and Visa passkeys
- Strategies to transform the checkout experience for both guests—and your returning customers
