Dinner

January 20, 2022

Summary

A dinner for digital leaders

Technology terms are being thrown around like confetti currently - so many terms which are suddenly the next big thing, but are not explained and simply do not resonate.

Marty McFLy once said “I guess you guys aren’t ready for that yet”... but MACH is here now.

Truly ambitious digital businesses across every sector are exploring a new way of building digital solutions - using a group of technologies which plug together by design and share an architecture that scales and flexes more easily.

The challenges in 2022 are myriad. How do you accelerate digital even faster? Where are all the developers? How can you make the site faster whilst coping with an exponential increase in traffic? Can you even afford to drive that traffic?

Our first dinner in 2022 is for digital ambitious businesses across every sector. Our evening will opened by an Spencer Hudson, Global Head of eCommerce Technical Solutions at ghd, describing the journey that they are taking - then opening up the discussion in a private Chatham House environment for you to learn and share.

This event will be run in a hybrid style - if you’re unable to join us in-person in Manchester, you’re welcome to join us virtually from the comfort of your own home!

  • Translating API-technology into an ROI for the rest of the business
  • Who builds and why? In-house or blended?
  • Will this accelerate growth? If so, how can we prove it?
