London
Summary
London 2021
Well, the year 2020 went from left to right real quick :)
Consumers were seen to have been buying up all sorts of sporting goods as they tried to keep fit during the pandemic.
As they looked for activities to help them stay occupied, healthy and adhere to new social distancing rules, most, if not all sports & outdoor categories experienced explosive growth! The boost for many parts of the sector in just 10-months was astronomical.
With the sector typically seeing increased activity in June and healthy sales throughout the summer months, with those skyrocketing numbers during lockdown, we want to ask - How sustainable is this shift?
With consumers being even more interested than ever to support local business and sustainable brands, it forced everyone to think differently. With home workouts at the top of the list, did you pivot your marketing messages and product mix to suit? Did you change your strategies to fit the lockdown high?
Our 2021 conference invited numerous businesses to discuss those who have excelled during the year of 2020 in founding their sustainable principles, changing their customer experience for the better and those who updated their strategies to fit.
This event was streamed virtually to allow all to view.
- How can you harness your community even without face-to-face events?
- How did you cope with shifts in demand during 2020 and the transition into 2021?
- Updating your sustainable strategies to engage for the long term
- Refocusing on your brands’ purpose for 2021 - has this changed?
